Cassper Nyovest has joined the tall list of individuals who have reacted to what the police did to some students of the University of the Witwatersrand.
It could be recalled that students of the renowned educational institution hit the streets to protest over their fees as they are demanding that the management of the university allow all students with outstanding debt to register for the 2021 academic year.
Their reason is that these students who are owing fees is due to the result of the economic losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reacting to the brutality some of the protesters suffered at the hands of the police, the award-winning rapper wrote;
“Where is the same energy for GBV, rape and other crimes that occure daily and that they are aware off. Infact ,not only are they aware of them, they are either directly involved or committing the crimes themselves. But when it’s students fighting for education ba fast blind.”
