Black Twitter Drags & Renames Love Island SA For Its Lack Of Diversity With Contestants. Last Yesterday marked the premier of the much anticipated dating reality show Love Island SA. Hosted by Leandie du Randt, the Mnet show had many hoping that the show will be just what Mzansi television needs.

The verdict for the show is in and Black Twitter has since called out the show for its lack of diversity among the contestants and have since renamed Love Island Orania, after a small racist town in the Western Cape.

Needless to say the show has come under fire for only have female of colour in the cast of 10 people. The black twitter community has labeled the show an embarrassment and one of the most inaccurate shows that the Chanel has ever produced.

The great part about Love Island Orania is that M-Net can actually rectify this as the show goes on by adding more black, Indian and coloured folks. It’s a real easy fix, but we’ll need to see if they actually follow through on some of the show’s biggest criticisms.

If they don’t want inclusion they must go to Europe, Mnet must not be part of DSTV then
We can’t allow love Island Orania
