It all started when a tweep suggested a change in legislation to end the long-overdue payments of influencers. The actress weighed in on the issue by bringing to bare the struggles influencers go through in their respective industries. She said influencers have to wait for a month or two before getting paid for their work which in a way cripples them financially.
Taking to her Twitter account she wrote: “I can’t emphasise this enough. The 30-60 day payment structure is financially crippling freelancers.”
In another tweet the star revealed she once got a 60-90 day agreement, no deposit and thinks the whole issue is insane and makes no sense. Many of her followers sided with her and also called for something to be done about the issue.
