Refilwe Modiselle Shares Image From The Set Of Her International Movie Gig! Life seems to be proceeding as normal and our actors have resumed to securing the bag and Refilwe Modiselle is back on her grind with a new project in the works

The eldest of the Modiselle sister is taking centre stage in an international film titled ‘White Gold’ about the emotional story about an African woman named Mansa who suffers from Albinism along with her entire family.

This is the first lead role for the TV personality in an international short film, written and directed by UK based filmmaker Luke Bradford. White Gold surrounds the tragic sequence of events with Mansa getting an arm mutilated as the result of the misconceptions around this genetic disorder.

Vanilla Blaq shared a picture on the set of the film with her on screen family in between the action and it looks like the energy is amazing from everybody, judging by the smiles.

‘In the post she wrote an inspirational message to her followers saying that nobody has a right to decide what happens in your life except for you. Her dreams are still valid no matter her age and she will face the challenges that come with her vision head on.

“And then she said… “Let the children come to me….” Myself & the super talented kids in character mode, wardrobe & all for international short film @thepitchwhitegold Bsbies don’t ever let the world dictate your dreams for you, whatever they may be, in whatever life presents TO YOU FOR YOU in any sphere. I’ve always been a soul with big dreams. Some crazy as ever & to this day I still dream these wild dreams, doesn’t matter how much older I get, even with challenges, obstacles & naysayers. I still continue to be a manifestation of the seeds planted in me because of purpose. The journey was never easy, still isn’t, but I have to remind myself of why I do what I do in whatever that I touch. That’s what VISIONARIES do! P.S I’m going to make a super mom one day,” Refilwe shared.

The local film is shot in Johannesburg and word on the street is for the next 18 months, the film will be touring around the world and will be entered in film festivals including ‘The Oscar’s.’ The film is inspired by a true event that took place in Tanzania, East Africa.
