Former Muvhango Star Lesley Musina Robbed At Gunpoint! The actor is the latest celeb victim of crime in Mzansi after he was robbed at gunpoint in Johannesburg with his four-year-old son in the car.
Lesley took to social media sharing details of the ordeal saying that he was disturbed because of his son witnessing the incident.
“I just got robbed at gunpoint by 4 men at the Total garage on Beyers Naudé, Windsor West around 20:00 tonight. The assailants made off with my cellphone, we always appreciate surviving unscathed and unharmed. What was most disturbing for me is that my 4-year-old son witnessed the whole terrible ordeal,” he wrote. The thing is if Lesley was to research into the various products he could purchase from somewhere such as guardian-self-defense.com or similar sites, then he might very well have been equipped with something to defend himself and his son, hopefully stopping the incident from taking place and keeping Lesley’s son from harm and witnessing such evil at a young age.
Luckily Lesley and his son were unharmed.
This could have been a totally different outcome, as many people who have found themselves in a similar situation to Lesley haven’t been so lucky, and may have been injured in the process. To prevent these types of incidents from happening again in the future, carrying a similar sort of weapon that can be used for self-defense purposes should be considered. Thankfully, places like Gunsholsterandgear have reviewed an extensive list of pistols that can be used for such situations and should be looked into if you’re looking for extra protection.
Carrying guns can be dangerous, but this isn’t preventing people from using them for self-defense purposes. If you use them correctly, however, and if you have a firm understanding of the concealment laws in your area (https://gunlawsuits.org/gun-laws/concealed-carry/), you will be able to make sure that you follow all guns laws, as well as ensuring that you are only using your gun for self-defense and not for anything else. So, if you have found yourself in a similar position to Lesley, you may want to take the time to consider how a firearms weapon could be of benefit to you. In this situation, Lesley and his son were just lucky to get out of this incident relatively unscathed.
“We thank God for sparing our lives. Materialistic things are easily replaceable. Be vigilant and protect yourself at all times. God will always play His part,” he added.
I just got robbed at gunpoint by 4 men at the Total garage on Beyers Naudé, Windsor West around 20:00 tonight. The assailaints made off with my cellphone, we always appreciate surviving unscathed and unharmed. What was most disturbing for me is that my 4 year old son witnessed the whole terrible ordeal. This is what happened: I went to Total garage to go buy chocolate for my son who had been nagging me about it. I hardly ever go to that garage but was too lazy to go to the 24 hour Spar up the road as I didn’t wanna stand in a long queue. So I got to the garage, left my son in the car watching cartoons on my other phone. I didn’t want to go into the shop with him as I wanted to quickly buy and leave. I bought the chocolate and went back to my car, I was wearing a jacket with a pull over hat (hoodie) as it’s cold. My peripheral vision wasn’t that great because the pullover was blocking my vision. As I opened my door, I heard a man’s voice yelling: “Lie down”, the next thing I was being manhandled. At first I thought it was someone I know pulling a prank on me. I looked up and saw 4 men, wearing hoodies and bandanas covering the lower part of their faces. They took 1 of my cellphones which was in my pocket. At that time my son was crying and screaming helplessly. The 4 men then fled, I chased them for a few meters but realised, I can’t leave my son behind. I then went to my car and tried to chase them. I couldn’t see where they had disappeared to but I could see there was commotion a hundred meters away from where I was, that’s next to Seven Seas Fisheries. I got there and there were a couple of other men who had seen the suspects flee. Apparently what had happened is that as the suspects were trying to get into their moving getaway car the police saw them and pursued their vehicle. I also learnt from the other men who had witnessed the suspects fleeing that 1 of the suspects threw the gun inside the back of a stationery bakkie and he jumped a fence and went into a nearby complex to hide. We tried to search for him unsuccessfully…… (Conclusion on the next post)…..
