Christopher has been appointed as Chair Of the Naledi Theatre Awards Board. The actress said she is honored to be chosen to take the position.
“The Naledi Awards are SA’s equivalent of the Tony Awards and in their fourteen-year history, I have had the privilege to contribute to the institution in various ways. Over the past five years, I have been part of the judging panel for the category of “Theatre for Children and Young Audiences”. In 2017 I joined the Board of Directors and I will continue to serve the Board, in my new role as Chair.
“Working together with the CEO of the Naledi Awards, Dawn Lindberg, and the highly esteemed Board; I have no doubt we will enhance The Naledi Awards and ensure their continued growth. The Naledi’s will continue to celebrate and reward excellence in the Arts. Our vision is to ultimately expand the footprint of The Naledi’s, for it to make an impact in the Arts sector, beyond the annual awarding event,” the actress said in a statement.
