Chicco Twala’s Son Longwe Tells His Side Of His Story About The Night Senzo Died! After his father Chicco Twala went on Metro FM to tell his side of the story amid speculations that it was his gun that killed Senzo Meyiwa, his son Longwe also tried to clear his name.
Longwe, who was dating Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile at the time denied having anything to do with Senzo’s murder. Longwe’s interview was confusing to say the least.
At some point he said he ran out of the house but then later described the robbers and Senzo’s killers. He also said the robbers took their cellphones only to say his cellphone was in his pocket.
Longwe said his father carries his gun everywhere but Chicco in his interview said the gun is always in a safe. The other contradiction was Longwe stating that the police got at the scene of Senzo’s murder before his father but his father had said Kelly called him first and he got there before the police.
Meyiwa was shot dead at the Vosloorus home of his girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, in October 2014.
