One fan of queen B tweeted her saying she couldnan’t wait for Bonang’s term as the President of the Republic and Bonang’s responded saying, “It’s gonna be amazing!”
If she did decide to run for president, she would need to do a lot of campaigning before she was to even be considered as a legitimate candidate. Usually, those who run for the presidency have some sort of political background, or at least have many political connections that they can learn from. It’s unclear if Bonang Matheba actually has any of this knowledge or connections, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping her. Running a campaign is not going to be easy and she’ll have to prioritise her political engagement over all else.
She will also have to create various messages that she wants to put out to the general public. She’ll likely have a team of professionals do this for her, but there are also political text messages examples, campaign tips and campaign messages, depending on how she wants to reach her desired audiences. Most of her followers are of younger generations so utilizing social media and SMS texting services may be the best way forward if she were to run for the presidency.
Not that we don’t see Bonang as the President, we all know there’s nothing she can’t but it’s interesting to know she’s thinking about it considering her loud silence during political debates.
