It’s that time of the year again where viewer fave Thembisa Mdoda takes a break from Mzansi Magic hit show Our Perfect Wedding. This also means a new stand in presenter for the show. Yay or nay? Check out who’s the next OPW presenter.
Your new host is non other than the bubbly actress Nomsa Buthelezi popularly known for her role as Ma Mnisi in Isibaya and as Slenda in the local female prison drama, Lockdown. Nomsa will become a regular Sunday TV fixture over 13 weeks from May 2017 while Thembisa Mdoda takes a break.
“I’m excited and nervous at the same time. This is a big challenge and a huge responsibility because South Africa is very passionate and opinionated about OPW. I hope to win them over,” she said.
Buthelezi says she’s forward to hearing couples recount their stories and being able to walk with them in the final leg of their path to marriage. “Love is such a beautiful thing!”
