Durban rapper who we’re only hearing about now called Novi Naidoo is suing chart topping group Mi Casa over their hit song ‘Chocolat’, the rapper claims it’s his original song.
Naidoo’s version of the song was released in May and it features South African rugby player, S’bura Sithole. He later did a remix in June featuring Big Nuz’s Mampintsha and rapper, Duncan.
Mi Casa’s ‘Chocolat’ was released late last year in September. Could there be any truth to this. Surely artists can have songs with the same title right, no?
