Poppy is back on radio, well at least she was for an hour when she stopped by Cliff Central morning show to talk life after radio and her famous exes.
Asked about her relationship with fellow DJ Sizwe Dhlomo, the ex 5FM DJ confirmed she has dated Sizwe in the past. “He’s likable if you don’t date him, I’m glad it’s over”, she told Gareth Cliff.
They might not be the best of exes but Poppy says she shares a chat group with him and it gets awkward at times. “He’s a very smart guy, I’ll give him that but I just don’t think he is an amazing boyfriend and it’s okay.”
One famous ex Poppy is still in touch with is DJ Milkshake. “He’s one of my best friends ever. He’s still a nice person, he was never malicious”, Poppy told Gareth.
All in the past now, the private DJ says she has a new man in her life and the relationship is as serious as being the first boyfriend to have met Poppy’s parents.
