Uhmmm….so remember when we were all excited and congratulated Miss Bonang Matheba for a very huge achievement?
Well it turns out that there’s been a little confusion concerning the whole Bonang’s Distraction makes it to Australia.
Woolworths has released a statement regarding her lingerie line being launched in Australia.
Bonang took to Instagram last week sharing that her lingerie will soon be available in Australia, however Woolworths statement shares that there was a little confusion from her statement.
“There has been some confusion stemming from an incorrect announcement made on Ms Bonang Matheba’s social media platforms last week relating to the extension of her capsule collection for Distraction into Australia. Ms. Matheba is the South African brand ambassador of Woolworths’ lingerie line, Distraction. There are no plans to extend Bonang’s capsule collection for Distraction beyond Southern African borders. Distraction has, however, been available in David Jones stores in Australia since August 2015.”
Bonang’s messages have since been deleted and she shared another Tweet to ‘clarify’ things.
