When it comes to steamy music videos we’ve honestly seen them all but L-Tido’s has to by far be the steamiest Hip Hop music video we’ve seen come out of SA.
Now we know that nudity and shaking a** on TV is quite a huge issue but no one had an issuee with Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda video. *Just saying*
City Press reports that L-Tido’s Dlala Ka Yona music video has been deemed too steamy for South African television and audiences, broadcasters have also requested that he tone down the sexy before they can air it on our screens.
“They (Channel O) told me the video was too raunchy. I don’t understand, because the channel plays unclean American videos all the time,” L-Tido told the paper.
With Twerking and shaking a** being the in thing now, you would think that every channel would jump at the opportunity of airing it.
The rapper admits that it may be a little too much but adds that artists are meant to “push the boundaries as far as art is concerned in this country.”
He also adds that he was ready for the negative reactions but says he’s glad that his mommy likes the video. LOL! Do you think Dlala Ka Yona is too steamy for Channel O?
