And all the Frank Ocean fans say whaaaaaat?
Ok, so confidence is knowing that you’re good at something, over confidence is when you put it out there that you’re better than somebody. We just think that the numbers say it all and well Frank’s numbers are pretty high right?
Miguel was reported as saying that he believes that his music is better than Frank Ocean’s and that there’s no need to compare apples with oranges.
The ‘Adorn’ hit maker recently had a chat with UK’s Sunday Times and disclosed that he’s not Frank Ocean’s friend never will be and that he with no doubt makes better music than him.
“I wouldn’t say we were friends, to be completely honest – and no disrespect to anyone – I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around,” Miguel was quoted.
Miguel further said that his and Frank’s music is totally different and that’s why he believes that he’s better : “That’s Frank. Frank is the tortured. That’s his thing. That’s not who I am. I may not be dark – as dark – and I may not be as poetic, but I’m living my real sh*t.”
Miguel then took the conversation even further by trying to explain himself on his Instagram page and basically said you can’t compare apples to oranges, we just wonder who’s who in the tree!
