Tiki Nxumalo was first introduced to our screens through a funny KFC advertisement of a Grandfather sharing a moment with his grandson, not so long after he came to our screens on SABC 1 drama Generations.
In the soapie the legendary actor played the role of Sompisi the delusional father of shebeen Queen Ruby.
Reports say that a family member found Tiki laying on the floor outside his home in Lamont south of Durban KZN.
Nelisiwe Nxumalo who is a relative of the actor says that they received a phone call this morning informing them of his death.
“When we got to his house we saw his asthma medication on his bed. We suspect he might have collapsed trying to find help because he was alone in the house,” she said.
