Yes it’s DJ Sbu again. The only thing new about this headline is the company that’s suing the CliffCentral DJ.

South African Bereau of Standards (SABS) are thinking of suing entrepreneur Sbusiso Leope for claiming that his energy drink MoFaya is SABS approved.

MoFaya hasn’t had any positive news circulating around it since the minute it came out into stores. Just last month Sbu was in trouble for circulating a fake Forbes Africa magazine cover claiming that the energy drink recieved cover recognition when in actual  fact MoFaya was only recognised as one of the top three beverages that are made and produced in Africa.

Now it’s surfaced that MoFaya features a fake SABS approval logo on the packaging.

EWN reports that SABS has already approached their legal team on assistance on how to approach the whole situation.

“It is being handled by the legal department and my legal team has met with the company in question,” SABS’ Frank Makamo was quoted on EWN.

Even though MoFaya is available in stores it is not approved and has not been given the go ahead  for human consumption as it is not SABS tested or approved.
