Ok, is it save to say that Trevor Noah has the most successful career out of all the South African comedians we all know? Well if you don’t agree with that, what rock are you living under?
Trevor Noah made a debut on The Daily Show about 4 months ago as a guest star alongside host Jon Stewart. It seems that being on the show was a long time dream for the comedian and he got the chance to live up to those dreams with his hero Jon Stewart.
The New York Times reports that Trevor will be taking over from his hero as the new host of The Daily Show. When Trevor was asked how he feels about being deemed the new host he simply had this to say:
“You don’t believe it for the first few hours,” Mr. Noah said of learning about his new job. “You need a stiff drink, and then unfortunately you’re in a place where you can’t really get alcohol.”
Like a true comedian no?
Well congratulations to Trevor for bagging this great gig, honestly he’s already at the top we don’t where else he can go from here!
