As we all know the much anticipated awards ceremony will be taking place this weekend. All roads lead to Durban for the 15th Annual Metro FM Music Awards show.
The Metro FM Music Awards organizers have decided to line up a number of activities that are set to remind us about the awards ceremony taking place this weekend.
The Durban International Convention Centre will be the place to be as they will be the hosts of the ceremony.
The best part of the awards is to see who walks away with the big prize really and one award that everyone is looking forward to is the award for Hip Hop album of the year.
To remind people of the awards and to keep the hype around them alive, Metro FM personalities Bonang Matheba and DJ Sbu will be on SABC3 soapie Isidingo tomorrow and on Wednesday evening at 19:00pm.
The two radio personalities are set to appear on your Tv screens to remind you about the awards taking place this weekend.
Daily Sun reports that the Metro FM public relations and communications manager Happy Ngidi said they have to ensure that the awards show remains relevant and adopt global practices in line with the brand’s vision and strategy to growing the audiences for the show.
“We are excited they gave the thumbs up to our proposal to script in our stars into two of their scenes this week.
“They will be communicating different elements of the awards like the glitz and glamour and focus on the celebrating greatness aspect, which is the theme of this year’s awards,” she said.
Minnie Dlamini and T-Bo Touch are known to be the hosts of the awards ceremony.
