Last week’s highlights could not be complete without adding the meme’s of President Mugabe’s fall, I mean he broke the internet with laughter for once that’s a good thing right?
President Robert Mugabe had a great fall last week at the Harare International Airport it is said that the fall was caused by a faulty red carpet but funny just a day after the fall a local newspaper reported that news of their great President falling are all lies!
The crazy part about the president falling is that because he fell now people have to be punished over him being embarrassed yes you read right other people were punished because President Mugabe tripped over a carpet! President Mugabe’s security guards received suspension letter last week Friday over the incident.
According to www.bulawayo24.com, sources told them that up to 27 members of the presidential security and advance team have been suspended because they watched their President take a great fall.
Officials also report that an investigation was launched on the night that the President fell, the Presidential spokesperson George Charamba later dismissed all reports of a shake up and loose link in President Mugabe’s security team.
Another official was also reported saying that President Mugabe’s fall was a serious matter and that it needs to be dealt with thoroughly.
“There are many departments that are being investigated, from Air Zimbabwe, the advance team and the security. I doubt if some of them will come back,”
“The issue here is simple. The security team was caught napping.” he continued.
Now seriously people everyone falls once in their life but for 27 people to lose their job? Seriously?
But then again if you look at the picture closely it does seem like they’re all just standing there watching the president fall and no one’s trying to break the fall either way that’s none of our business!
