OL are negotiating for Tanguy Ndombélé! –

If the PSG track seems to be moving away for Tanguy Ndombélé, the Spurs midfielder could well rebound on loan at his former club, Olympique Lyonnais.

The soap opera around the future of Tanguy Ndombélé continues during this winter transfer window. This season, the tricolor international (7 caps) has only played nine Premier League games this season, for one goal and one assist, which does not seem to satisfy him when he was more than a player of rotation since joining Spurs from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer of 2019.

If he did not seem closed to a departure just like his club, the native of Longjumeau was first linked to Paris Saint-Germain, who had started contract negotiations with his entourage as we announced to you last week, before to let the two clubs discuss the terms of the transfer. Nevertheless, the oversupplied workforce would block the arrival of the former Lyonnais at PSG, which is not the only French club to be interested in him.

Ndombélé not closed to a return

As mentioned by TF1, Olympique Lyonnais is discussing with Tottenham for a return of the 25-year-old player, who had already welcomed him for two seasons between 2017 and 2019 from Amiens. Indeed, the midfielder would not be closed to a return to Lyon, which could be a great way out for him in order to gain playing time less than 48 hours from the end of the transfer market.

A sizeable reinforcement that Dutch coach Peter Bosz should not refuse after the probable departure of Bruno Guimaraes to Newcastle. It remains to be seen whether the club led by Jean-Michel Aulas will have to pay the salary of the Tottenham player. As a reminder, Ndombélé had played 96 games with Les Gones in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 16 assists.
