An injured walker had to be winched to safety after being swept down a burn and over a waterfall.
Moffat Mountain Rescue Team said Police Scotland requested its assistance at about 10:30 on Saturday.
A coastguard rescue helicopter and a helimed trauma team were also called to Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall, near Moffat.
The man was winched from the water onto a path where he was assessed and given pain relief.

Moffat MRT said the walker was then packaged in a vacuum mattress, casualty bag and stretcher before being winched to the coastguard helicopter.
He did not require the helimed trauma team but, following a rescue that lasted four hours, was transferred to a major trauma centre for further care.
A spokesman for the team said: “With gusts of wind up to 40mph all teams involved had a challenging day on the hill before being stood down.”
