West Belfast: Pedestrian in serious condition after being hit by car

A man has been taken to hospital after been hit by a car in west Belfast.

His injuries are believed to be serious at this time, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

It happened on the Suffolk Road in Belfast at about 23:50 GMT on Saturday.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the incident along with PSNI.

Police appealed to anyone with information to contact them.
