GoogleA number of houses have been evacuated in a security alert in Antrim.
Police are at the scene in the Barra Street area after the alert was declared earlier on Saturday afternoon.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said access is restricted around Barra Street, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
There are no further details. The police said it will issue further updates “in due course”.
