Christopher Halliwell murders: Police missed clues

The IOPC ruled that if the various witness and forensic evidence had been thoroughly investigated and the Crown Prosecution Service had been made aware of outstanding lines of enquiry prior to a pre-trial hearing in 2012, then it may have led to a different judicial decision, an appeal against the inadmissibility ruling, or a potential prosecution for Miss Godden’s murder at the time.
