In August 2021, Shauna Lennon from County Tyrone was in a serious car accident.
The University of Ulster student’s injuries initially led to her having to use a wheelchair.
She returned to complete her degree in 2022.
Not only did she receive a first class honours in biomedical engineering, but set herself the goal of walking on stage to collect her degree.
