Rangers have signed Turkey left-back Ridvan Yilmaz from Besiktas for an undisclosed fee that is thought to be about £5m.
The 21-year-old made 72 appearances for Besiktas after coming through their youth ranks and has won five caps for his country.
Yilmaz, who was contracted to Besiktas until next June, helped his side finish sixth in last season’s Super Lig.
He replaces Calvin Bassey, who was sold to Ajax for £19.6m last week.
