Across the country, students from primary to high school staged class walk-outs to protest against gun violence in schools. The leaders of the country’s two largest teacher unions are also planning to travel to Houston, Texas, this weekend to demonstrate outside an annual conference by the National Rifle Association, a pro-gun lobby group.
