Former club captains such as Richard Gough and Barry Ferguson attended the funeral service, and were joined by former assistant manager Archie Knox and past players Ally McCoist, Ian Durrant, Stuart McCall, John Brown, Kenny Miller, Alex Rae and Marvin Andrews.
