Finally, The Times reports on new research suggesting vegan food is better for dogs than a traditional meat-rich diet. In a study of more than 2,500, those eating vegan food were about a third less likely to be on medication than those given dog meat. The paper’s leader broadly welcomes the findings, but points out that “cats may prove a harder sell”.
