Experts list ways for women inclusion in tech |

Experts have said that awareness creation would be crucial in helping women demystify perceived challenges with technology.

Convener, Talkshop@Ellyxville, Adeyinka Adedokun, who among others, added passion and desire, as part of what could increase women’s participation in the tech space, stressed that they should also be encouraged in all fronts.

He said this at a media parley to announce the Talkshop@Ellyxville conference, themed: ‘Wonder Women in Workplace: Breaking the Bias,’ which is scheduled for tomorrow, March 24, in Lagos.

“Coding is not difficult. Presently there are some platforms that you can use to create an app without necessarily Coding. If we find a way to link what women love and technology together, the flair for technology would grow and women can start providing tech solutions to everyday problems,” Adedokun said.

Co-Convener, Talkshop@Ellyxville, Olayinka Williams, said the monthly Talk show aims to have professional conversations with young enterprising people looking to scale their careers or businesses by connecting them to industry professionals.

“It is a monthly gathering of upwardly-mobile professionals, for stimulating semi-formal conversations on career growth and personal development, and also to share topical insights and actionable nuggets of wisdom that can be applied for immediate business success.

“Human Resource and technology is our focus in this maiden edition because HR practitioners have insider knowledge on what management requires to advance the careers of people, understands cultures, personal brand, psychology of the work place and have ability to nature ones career, while technology is the key to societal development,” Williams said.
