Sacked from Southampton in 2018, Mark Hughes (58) officially finds a bench. This Thursday, Bradford City, resident of English D4, announced the arrival of the Welshman on his bench. Disappeared from the radar, the former coach of Wales (1999-2004), who notably trained for fourteen years in the Premier League, from 2004 to 2018 (Blackburn, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR, Stoke, Southampton), therefore takes leading a side currently sitting 15th in EFL League Two.
The 58-year-old tactician has signed up until 2024 and takes over from Derek Adams. Former Manchester United striker Mark Hughes becomes the eighth technician to take the reins of Bratford in just four years. Let’s hope for him a clearer horizon than his predecessors…
