The renderings of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 bear many traces of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the ultra-premium model of the new series and replacement for the Galaxy Note handsets. In particular, the arts highlight the camera system of Samsung’s new flagship.

The concept created by designer Ben Geskin has several similarities with the current Galaxy Z Fold 3. For example, the device would have a narrow external screen and an internal display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The big change would be for the rear camera module. Instead of a single island with the three sensors and the flash, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 would adopt a system with four cameras like the one used by the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It is worth remembering, however, that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 camera system has more similarities with the simpler variants of the Galaxy S21 line than with the more expensive model, something that can continue with the new generation.

The art produced by Apple Lab follows the same proposal with the back inspired by the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, the designers opted to keep just the three sensors instead of a quad camera — going along a more conservative line with regard to the brand’s history.
While the external display remains narrow as on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the internal display appears to be slightly taller than the previous concept. For more, three color options were presented: black, white and lavender.

According to the first information, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 should be announced in the third quarter of 2022 – more specifically between the months of July and August.
