the games of The Wolf Among Us are based on the 2002 comic Fables, written by Bill Willingham and drawn by Mark Buckingham, for the Vertigo imprint. The story features characters from fairy tales and folklore driven from their lands and now living in New York.
The protagonist of the plot is Bigby Wolf, or Big Bad Wolf, the town sheriff who becomes responsible for investigating the murder of a woman under mysterious circumstances. In gameplay, the player has to make decisions along the plot, which alter the story.
