ZTE is preparing to launch two lines of smartphones with high processing power, together with Nubia. In addition to the Red Magic 7 series devices, the brand will also soon show the Nubia Z40, a device that had some specifications confirmed through new tests on Geekbench 5.
As expected, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the most powerful mobile platform among those offered by Qualcomm so far. The CPU has four cores clocked at 1.79 GHz for energy efficiency, plus three high performance cores at 2.50 GHz and one maximum performance at 3.00 GHz. The processor also features 4 nanometer lithography and comes with a GPU. integrated Adreno 730.
The test also confirmed that the Nubia Z40 will have at least one version with 16 GB of RAM, but other variants with 8 or 12 GB of RAM are not ruled out – with this, the device reached 1,228 points in single-core and 3,379 in multi-core. core, quite high scores. Teasers inform about the Nubia Z40 Pro
According to publicity images already released by the brand, the Nubia Z40 Pro will feature a three-phase cooling system with graphite parts, which promise to leave the performance components with controlled temperatures, even during the heaviest games.
Another teaser concerns the camera set, which should feature the Sony IMX787 main sensor, 35 mm focal length and f/1.6 aperture — the device’s lenses will be able to reduce image distortion by up to 35%, while at the same time capture up to 80% more light. The brand claimed that the cameras of the Z40 Pro will be 70% more reliable compared to its predecessor, the Z30 Pro.
If the model has similar specifications to its predecessor, it will come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, Full HD+ resolution and support for a 144 Hz refresh rate, so that games or other content run with high precision and fluidity. The battery can be 4,600 mAh or larger, with support for fast charging of 120 W – which should complete the charge in a time close to 15 minutes.
The brand has already confirmed that the Red Magic 7 Pro series will be presented to the Chinese market on February 17, and the Z40 line may appear in the sequel – however, so far there is no official date determined. Until then, more details about the cell phones may be released.
