FC Barcelona announced on Tuesday the departure of its general manager Ferran Reverter. The Spanish leader who arrived at Barça last July resigned from his post for personal and family reasons. The club specifies that this resignation will be effective when the Blaugranas integrate a new general manager.
The Spaniard led the club’s transformation plan and the Catalan strategic plan planned between 2021 and 2026 which aims to reduce FC Barcelona’s debt thanks to the reduction of the club’s wage bill and the signing of new sponsors.
