According to The Mirror, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be in ambush for Bayern Munich striker Serge Gnabry. The 26-year-old German, whose contract in Bavaria ends in June 2023, would struggle to agree an extension deal with his club as Bayern are unwilling to match the winger’s demands. Gnabry would like a salary of around 280,000 euros per week, for a contract extension at least until 2026.
If the German leaders failed in the negotiations, Liverpool and United would be ready to jump at the chance to recruit the former Arsenal player, who is now one of Bayern’s star players. Real Madrid and Barcelona would also be attentive to the evolution of this file. This season the German international has played 28 games with the Bavarian club for 12 goals scored and 7 assists.
