Less than a month after the premiere of panic 5 in theaters, Paramount Pictures announced that panic 6 It’s more than confirmed. The studio also revealed that recording will begin in 2022.
panic 5 opened in theaters in early January, being the first film without the direction of Wes Craven, who passed away in 2015. Production returns to the city of Woodsboro with a new wave of killings happening, focusing on the character Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), who carries a dark past.
The script for the new film will feature James Vanderblit and Guy Busick, and the direction is once again in the hands of the duo responsible for the most current film, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet. Paramount Pictures and Spyglass said they were grateful to fans around the world for having welcomed the new sequel film with such enthusiasm.
