The Poco X4 5G is one of Xiaomi’s intermediate cell phones expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2022. Indicating the proximity of the debut in the global and Asian market, the device received certification from the NBTC, Thailand’s regulatory body equivalent to Anatel, this Friday thursday (4).
Unfortunately, the registration with the Thai body does not provide technical details about the device with the serial number 2201116PG. However, as the brand name of the device confirms, the Poco X4 will indeed be launched with support for 5G connection.
In recent weeks, the Poco X4 5G has obtained certifications from bodies in India and Malaysia. As well, the model already appears in the IMEI database with the serial number registered in Thailand, raising expectations for the launch.

Rebranded version of Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro
Considering Xiaomi’s history and looking at the phone’s model number in the certification, there are strong chances that the Poco X4 5G is a “clone” of the Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro with some visual changes. In this way, the device can use MediaTek’s mid-range Dimensity 920 5G chipset with options of up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
The phone can still bring a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Full HD + resolution. Promising more responsive commands in games, the display features a sampling rate of 360 Hz.
On the photography side, the device may have a triple rear camera consisting of a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP depth unit. The front camera should use a 16 MP sensor.
The Poco X4 5G should also have Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connections, as well as a biometric sensor on the side. Finally, the device would have a 5,160 mAh battery with support for 67 W fast charging.
Poco X4 5G debut preview
The various certifications in various international markets indicate that the Poco X4 5G could be unveiled very soon. In addition to it, the Poco X4 Pro 5G version should also be announced by Xiaomi in the coming weeks.
