OnePlus 10 Ultra has supposed look indicated by patent –

A OnePlus patent may have revealed the design of the speculated OnePlus 10 Ultra, the brand’s bet to compete with models like the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the premium cellphone segment. Despite being dated from September last year, the documentation shows a look very similar to the recently announced OnePlus 10 Pro, reinforcing the existence of the device, with changes resulting from the addition of new features.

OnePlus 10 Ultra has alleged leaked look

Discovered by the blog TechInsider, which successfully leaked data such as the release date of the Galaxy S22 and the overall look of the Redmi Note 11 Pro, the patent shows all angles of a phone very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The curved screen occupies the entire front region, bringing a hole aligned to the upper left corner for the selfie lens, while the metal sides house the power, volume and traditional brand sound slider.

The camera module brings the same design inspired by the Galaxy S21 Ultra, leaking from the sides to the back and, although it brings three lenses like the model already released, it draws attention for a change in the lower camera. Instead of a circle accompanied by the LED flash, the cell phone displayed appears to be onboard a periscope lens, with enhanced optical zoom.

The lens glass is also curiously shaped as it extends further than necessary, possibly to house some additional feature. It is speculated that this feature could be a secondary screen, following the molds of devices like the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. That said, there is no more detailed information in the patent, and it is still possible that this extension is just a design decision.

Mobile should bring MariSilicon X and new Snapdragon

According to rumors, the OnePlus 10 Ultra would arrive in the second half of 2022, resulting from OnePlus’ desire to compete with more premium models and employing some technologies resulting from the merger with Oppo. The highlight would be the adoption of the MariSilicon X chip, the manufacturer’s first proprietary solution aimed at boosting the performance of cameras and offering features that Snapdragon “wouldn’t be able to provide”.

The processing would also get an important upgrade, with the use of the long-awaited “Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus”, a revised version of Qualcomm’s chipset now under TSMC manufacture, which could solve the problems of overheating and low performance evolution of the already released variant. . Also according to the information, the OnePlus Ultra smartphone would already be in an advanced stage of development, in the validation stage, but there are no further details on the specifications.
