Donny van de Beek loaned to Everton –

In real lack of playing time at Manchester United, with no tenure in 8 Premier League appearances, Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek finds himself a new club in England in the last moments of the winter transfer window. Indeed, in a complicated situation in the league, Everton has decided to welcome the international from Oranje (19 caps, 3 goals) in the form of a loan until the end of the season.

“Donny van de Beek has joined Everton on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the 2021/22 season,” the Toffees’ statement read. “Now I can say I’m an Everton player, I’m really happy and can’t wait to help the team. I think it’s a great club, there are very good players here and I came because I want to help them to move up the table. I had a really positive meeting with the new coach (Frank Lampard). We have the same ideas about football and he had a lot of influence on my decision.”, commented Donny van de Beek on the official Everton website.
