About to be launched in China, the Lenovo Legion Y90 was spotted at TENAA – the Chinese body equivalent to Anatel. With that, some specifications of Lenovo’s gaming smartphone were revealed, including details about the screen, RAM configuration and storage.
Registered with the serial number L71061, the Legion Y90 will have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. As previously announced, the display will have 144 Hz refresh rates and 720 Hz touch sampling, making images more fluid and commands more dynamic during games and other activities.
It is also reported that the phone will have variants with 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB or 18 GB of RAM, with the possibility of an additional 4 GB of virtual RAM. Regarding internal storage, the device will have options of 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB.

It is worth mentioning that the Legion Y90 was recently spotted with 640 GB of internal storage. As with the supposed Legion Phone 3 global version, some device variants may have an additional 128GB SSD.
What to expect from the Lenovo Legion Y90
As previously confirmed, the Legion Y90 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Featuring one of the best GPUs today, the processor offers 2.995 GHz clock speed.
Unfortunately, the information about the cameras is incorrect on TENAA. The document presents the model with an 8 MP main camera, indicating a possible confusion with the sensor’s pixel binning.
According to rumors, the gaming smartphone should have a dual rear camera with a 48 MP or 64 MP main sensor and a 16 MP ultrawide. Meanwhile, the front camera in a retractable module can have an 8 MP sensor or even 44 MP.
The Lenovo Legion Y90 will have two 2,650 mAh batteries that offer a total capacity of 5,300 mAh, with possible support for 68 W fast charging. However, the TENAA listing cites only one of the units that supply power to the phone.
Weighing 252 grams, the device has the following proportions: 177 mm high by 78.1 mm wide and 10.9 mm thick. In addition, the model will have several color options: black, white, blue, cyan, green, gold, red, silver and gray.
release forecast
Although the brand has not revealed a specific date, the Legion Y90 is expected to debut on the Chinese market in February. Rumors point out that the device will be released after the Chinese New Year celebrations, which run from February 1st to 12th.
The alleged global versions Legion Phone 3 Elite and Legion Phone 3 Pro should be announced in the first quarter by Lenovo. According to recent leaks, the devices will have specifications very similar to the Chinese model.
