More details about the long-awaited Pixel 6A — Google’s extremely competitively priced phone with a strong camera focus — emerged this weekend, revealing possible device specs and supposed launch forecast.
Leaker Sam (known by user @Shadow_Leak) reveals that the Pixel 6a will feature a 6.2-inch screen with an OLED panel without curves. Despite being in the original publication, Sam apologizes for the small error in the comment below and states that the Pixel 6a will not have a 120 Hz screen. It is not said whether the model should bet on a slightly fluid rate of 90 Hz or follow the traditional ones. 60 Hz.
As for the cameras – one of the biggest attractions of the device for its price range -, Google is expected to bet on two 12 MP sensors.

The main lens would have a Sony IMX363 sensor, even used in the Pixel 5, with an ultrawide lens offering a Sony IMX386 sensor. The front camera would have a resolution of 8 MP and a Sony IMX355 sensor.
As already revealed, the phone will be equipped with the first version of the Tensor chip that equips the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, offering performance similar to high-end phones at a considerably lower price. It will also have options with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and a single storage of 128 GB, according to the informant.
Regarding the battery, it is said that the smartphone will have a 4,800 mAh cell and 30 W fast charging capacity, in addition to offering Android 12 from the factory and a body with a thickness of 8.7 mm.
According to informant Max Jambor, the Pixel 6a is scheduled to be released in May, nine months after the announcement of its predecessor. The exact day has not yet been revealed.
