Galaxy S22 has February 9 announcement reinforced by Samsung website –

Codes from Samsung’s own website reveal that the first Galaxy Unpacked of 2022, in which the long-awaited Galaxy S22 family will be announced, should actually happen on January 9, as multiple rumors released in recent weeks have indicated. The discovery was made by TechInsider, who scoured the portal data and found direct mentions of the event’s date and time.

Galaxy S22 has reinforced February 9 announcement

Mentions of the day of the event are made in the source code of the Galaxy S22 pre-order website, in commented lines, thus not being active on the portal. Included are links for interested users to add reminders to Google, Outlook and Yahoo! and, when accessing them, the date of February 9, at noon in Brasília time, is mentioned.

A quick search for the excerpts on the site finds only comments dedicated to the insertion of a calendar button, without direct links to the agendas, although the information matches the print published by TechInsider, which at least saved the address used for the Google app. This suggests that Samsung may have removed the comments to prevent leaks, even though the strategy did not work.

It is worth remembering that renowned leakers, such as Ice Universe, and Korean media channels such as DDaily, had already suggested during the month of January that these would be the date and time of the new Unpacked.

Unpacked 2022 should also bring Galaxy Tab S8

The main announcement of Unpacked 2022 will be the Galaxy S22 family, which promises refinements across the line, although the focus will be the Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to the leaks, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus models will feature more premium construction with Gorilla Glass Victus, new color options, newer image sensors with higher resolution, as well as versions with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200. .

The S22 Ultra, on the other hand, will undergo the greatest number of changes, since, as everything indicates, it should seek to take the place of the extinct Galaxy Note series, while trying to maintain the DNA of the Galaxy S line. improvements from the smaller brothers, the device will have a unique and minimalist look, with straight lines, built-in S Pen and wider screen, and should also offer refinements to the 108 MP camera set.

Cell phones shouldn’t be the only new additions to the presentation, however — Samsung also confirmed that it will introduce a new line of premium tablets, so far known as the Galaxy Tab S8. As with cell phones, the standard and Plus models should not bring any remarkable news, in addition to a new chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a faster S Pen with a maximum latency of 2.8 ms and updated software.

There is, however, a more exciting new addition: the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. As the name suggests, the device aims to be Samsung’s most premium tablet experience, combining the advanced features of the more compact models with a massive 14.6-inch screen and a very generous 11,200mAh battery.
