Galaxy A53 5G appears in certification with 4,860 mAh battery and 8 GB of RAM –

Samsung is very close to launching the Galaxy A53, and new certifications received by the device from the regulatory body TENAA have confirmed almost all of its specifications, as well as its final look. With this, it is expected that it will bring some updates compared to its predecessor, especially in the battery aspect.

According to the listing, the Galaxy A53 5G will come with a 4,860 mAh tank, where that value could still represent the component’s nominal capacity, and therefore it can bring a typical capacity of 5,000 mAh. Anyway, it’s a higher value than the one registered in the Galaxy A52 5G and even in the Galaxy A52s, which have 4,500 mAh of battery.

Previous certifications have already confirmed that the new device will have similar charging characteristics, in which the cell phone will have support for up to 25 W, but the adapter offered in the box is only 15 W. With this, the user who wants to use the maximum recharge speed you will need to buy an extra accessory separately.

The information released on TENAA also confirms that the Galaxy A53 5G will have slightly smaller dimensions than the previous generation, with a 6.46-inch screen and 159.5 × 74.7 × 8.1 mm — the Galaxy A52 5G has 6. 5 inches and 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm respectively. The display of the new model will still have Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels), support for a 120 Hz refresh rate and a central hole for the front camera.

The device will also have at least one version with 8GB of RAM, and options with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Therefore, nothing very different from the previous generation, and if Samsung keeps the same settings, a cheaper model with 6 GB of RAM will still be available. The processor used in the Galaxy A53 5G has not yet been confirmed by certifications, but the brand is expected to use an Exynos 1200 instead of the Qualcomm platforms that are equipped in the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s.

The camera set should not have major changes, and will remain with a 64 MP primary sensor, possibly aided by a 13 MP ultrawide camera, 5 MP macro and 5 MP depth sensor. On the front, the selfie camera will have 12 MP.

The Galaxy A53 5G should already come with Android 12 installed, along with Samsung’s OneUI 4.0 interface. There is still no official date for the launch of the cell phone, but the appearance in certifications shows that this could happen in the next few days.
