As with the 2021 device, the camera module should be positioned in the upper left corner, but one of the differences is that now the back cover should be flat, without the curvatures seen on the back of the S21 series. In addition, it is clear that the cell phone will come in four colors, which are: black, green, white and rose gold.
What to expect from the Galaxy S22?
The Galaxy S22 Plus should have a 6.55-inch screen with AMOLED technology, Full HD+ resolution, support for a 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits. Its battery will be 4,500 mAh with support for 45 watt charging, according to the latest information.
In addition, there should be three rear cameras, a main 50 MP, an ultrawide 12 MP and a 3x optical zoom also 12 MP.
All models of the Galaxy S22 line must bring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor or the Exynos 2200, which arrives as the first fruit of a partnership between the South Korean and AMD, containing an mRDNA GPU based on Radeon cards for PC with RDNA 2 architecture.
They should feature minor changes to cameras, screen and battery, with a greater emphasis on fast charging in the two most expensive variants. The Galaxy S22 Ultra should be the big star of the line, now with support for the S Pen inherited from the Note line with a dedicated slot, a new straighter design and the latest generation of the 108 MP camera.
Samsung has not yet confirmed any date for the unveiling of the new products, but rumors say that the Galaxy S22 series could be launched as early as the beginning of February, differing only if this will be on the 8th or 9th of the month.
