This Friday (14th), it was announced Avatar: Reckoning, an MMORPG shooter for iOS and Android phones that will arrive in 2022. The title is being produced by Archosaur Games and distributed by Tencent, in partnership with Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.
According to the official announcement, reckoning will take place in parts of Pandora never seen before in James Cameron’s 2009 film. Despite not having any trailer released, Archosaur Games promises that the title will have “cutting edge visuals”, produced in the Unreal Engine 4.
In the story, players will encounter Na’vi clans who are fighting to protect their homes from the RDA (the humans), who try to steal the region’s resources. You’ll create your own character and participate in solo, co-op, and PvP (player-versus-player) modes to improve your skills over time. It will be possible to play both alone and in multiplayer.

Avatar franchise has other games and movies in the works
In addition to Avatar: Reckoning, there are two other games based on the franchise in development: one of them is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, first-person action-adventure, which is expected to arrive in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia and Luna; the other is Avatar: Pandora Rising, an RTS (Real Strategy) for cell phones, with no release date. In cinemas, avatar 2 It should debut on December 16th. Little information about the story has been released: only that we will see Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) still living among the Na’Vi, on Pandora, and starting a family with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). They will be forced to abandon the forests for refuge in the seas, and they will encounter a new race called the Metkayina.
