The European body is “currently reviewing isolation guidelines for covid-19 cases and conducting a more specialized review of the available literature on viral load and relief [do isolamento]”, stressing that, for the time being, “there is no evidence to reduce the period of isolation” of individuals not vaccinated against covid-19.
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) indicated this Friday that the current guidelines for quarantine and isolation of high-risk contacts infected with covid-19 are “limited” and therefore suggested adapting the respective guidelines. The update will be published shortly.
