While most of the photos released so far are dark and hard to see anything more clearly, the image published by Rolling Stone magazine allows us to get a pretty clear view of what the uniform will look like in its details — or at least part of it.
Batman must wear a mixture of armor with a simpler material. In the photo, you can see that the hood is all sewn and made just to hide Bruce Wayne’s identity and not to serve as a helmet or anything like that, as it was in the Christopher Nolan trilogy.

At the same time, we can also see how the costume itself really maintains that armored look we saw in Batman: Dark Knight, with a metal breastplate and even a shoulder pad — something quite necessary, considering how much he gets shot and punched with a bad guy.
This all goes to show how much director Matt Reeves is interested in making the batman it’s not just different, but an evolution of everything we’ve seen of the character over the last few years in cinema — which just raises the anticipation around the debut.
