Since debuting in 2020, Lenovo has used the ThinkBook Plus line for certain “experiments”. Presented at CES 2022, the third generation of notebooks innovates by bringing a second display next to the keyboard and expanding the ways of using the machine.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 features a 17.3-inch main screen with 3K resolution and 21:10 aspect ratio. Ideal for professional designers and creators, the 120 Hz refresh rate display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
However, attention is entirely diverted to the 8-inch color LCD screen to the right of the keyboard and touchpad. With stylus pen support, the secondary display is useful for many everyday functions.

Optimized by Windows 11
ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 offers an optimized experience with the help of Windows 11. Using the snap layout feature, users have an easier time managing their windows and enjoying the benefits of the lower pane.
The operating system itself recognizes the secondary display as a connected monitor. In addition to sending and organizing windows on the second screen, users can use the “Waterfall” effect, which extends the contents of the top screen to the bottom pane.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 comes with tools that turn the extra screen into a notepad or numeric keypad. Through the Seu Telephone app, it is also possible to mirror the smartphone screen directly on the notebook.
Compatible with Adobe software, the machine allows creative users to use the “second monitor” and pen for quick drawings and editing. Furthermore, Magic Launcher adds several shortcuts at the bottom of the panel.
