During Sony’s presentation at CES 2022, last Monday night (5), it was revealed Horizon Call of The Mountain, new virtual reality game for the PlayStation VR2, which was also announced on the same occasion.
The title is under development by Guerilla Games, creator of horizon Zero Dawn and horizon Forbidden West, in partnership with Firesprite (the persistence and The Playroom). See the reveal teaser below:
In the video, Jan-Bart van Beek, director of the studio, says the new experience will be unique and “designed to deliver hardware technology, innovation and gameplay” for the brand’s new generation VR console.

Not much of the gameplay is shown, we only see a few seconds of a new character guiding the main character (who doesn’t sound like Aloy from the voice) during a boat ride. On the way, a Pescoção crosses the river they are sailing and the video ends.
Forbidden West horizon is the next release in the Aloy saga. The game will be released on February 18th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with a free upgrade between generations.
